As evidenced by the lack of posts lately, it would seem obvious that blogging is the last thing on my mind.
Yes!! No!! I mean....
While I have been VERY busy, I have been thinking about blogging and even participating a bit, although not on this particular page.
I've moved my blog to The Wise Alternative and have been extremely busy with website redesign, products, photography and a jillion other things.
Btw a jillion comes right after a trillion....just don't tell the politicians. Ha
While I've been doing all of these things, I've also been featured in a blog post by Amy Backs of Gluten Free, Soy Free Aussie that you should definitely read. It's called "A Possible "Natural" Solution to Gluten Intolerance. Amazing post and comments.....Thanks Amy!
I'm having a bit of trouble with my RSS button so people can subscribe to the new blog feed. I'm a novice when it comes to these things and Wordpress is a brand new challenge as well.
I hope to have this subscription feed fixed in the next few days and I hope you'll come over to the new blog. I'll check back in a couple of days and let everyone know what the status is. What A Wednesday Video - Answering The Questions
As evidenced by this blog....and MANY others....food is an integral part of our lives. Obviously we eat for the pleasure of it...as well as the whole staying alive part. I loooove food of all kinds as many can tell you and nobody enjoys a good meal as much as me. For many people....especially in recent years...food has become something that must be approached with caution, or a critical eye, if you will, because of an allergy ranging from mild discomfort to a medical emergency.
One of these conditions that has gained national attention in recent years is Celiac disease or gluten intolerance. Many of you are very familiar and some may not be so I will give a short description.
Celiacs are people who cannot eat many types of food or what I call BROWS...Barley, Rye, Oats, Wheat and Spelt. Unfortunately, these 5 things listed are in an unbelievable amount of our food and food products either naturally or as an additive. Celiacs have an allergic reaction to the gluten that is found in these items, and symptoms range from violent stomach issues when ingested, bowel problems, eczema, psoriasis, autism among children, miscarriage and many others.
This disorder is only now becoming more understood as well as the host of conditions it has been directly linked to. Many people are searching high and low for more information so that they can become more well informed and take an active part in their health.

However...I'm not a famous celebrity that endorses a product or wears certainoutfits clothes (sorry, guys just can't say OUTFIT...it's a physical impossibility...or it should be) to a big event...thereby causing a run on this shoe or that shirt, etc...What's up with that anyway?? I'm simply a father, brother, son and uncle to some of the best family a person could wish for.

Video Testimonial Friday - Joseph's Story
Is it Friday already!?!? Form some reason I cannot get it out of my head that this is Thursday. I was going to call this post "Testimonial Thursday!" and now I've gotta come up with something else. I can hear you telling me now...."Quit complaining! It's one day closer to the weekend!!" Thank goodness it's not Monday right??
I have been so busy in the last several days that I haven't been able to get this video loaded to the site. I've had it on a flash drive in my pocket for more than a week and finally enlisted the help of my sister to load it for me. I helped her with a plumbing leak a couple of days ago and while I was working on that she loaded this video on the blog for me. Thanks Lisa!!
To give you some background information, Dr. Wise, mentioned in the video, is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor, NMD. He is also one of only 27 Naturopathic Endocrinologists in the nation. The patient in the video is a young man by the name of Joseph from Tulsa, OK. Wednesday is here....That wonderful day that everyone looks forward to because it means the week is halfway over. It seems awfully quick this time around but I'm sure the 3 day weekend had something to do with it.
As promised, today will be a day full of information on Dr. Wise's Gluten Senitivity Formula. There have been many questions about Dr. Wise, his Celiac formula, pros and cons, ingredients and more. 1. Who is Dr. Wise?
Jack Wise is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD) and Board Certified Naturopathic Endocrinologist. He was born in Oklahoma in 1939 and spent much of his youth here before serving his country in the Army & National Guard from 1957-1970. He was stationed in Germany, Korea, and Vietnam until an honorable medical discharge, at which time he moved to Oregon and worked in the insurance and automotive industries. He worked for 22 years as a general contractor in California before finally moving to Oklahoma in 1994. He sold insurance for 2 years before becoming deathly ill to the bewilderment of many medical doctors. He spent thousands of dollars on test after test and was told to "go home and die" because they couldn't do anything for him. He was later found to have Lyme disease.
