Which is Healthier...The Chicken or The Egg??

I love eggs...scrambled, sunnyside up, poached, soft or hard boiled is all ok with me.  Let me add a caveat here....can't do raw, even a little bit.  I know people that do, it's just not for me.

I've always considered the egg one of the mysteries of the world.  Perhaps a great question never to be answered....you all know what I mean so I won't open that can today.

The egg has a myriad of uses as you all know, from endless baking recipes to soups, salads and everything in between.  Whether you prefer store bought or farm raised, they are a golden start to a nutritious day, packed with protein and choline they are classified in the meat group of the Food Guide Pyramid.

Where does all of this lead you ask??  A question that has been raised among scientists...is a fast food chicken sandwich (KFC DoubleDown) healthier than a single egg yolk?  I have my doubts.......

Personally I think they are all crazy - there is no way a KFC double down is better than a single egg - ridiculous. But hey, what do I know? I am just one lone nut who eats a RAW egg a day with her kefir slushy (which also has raw liver in it -yum!).

I'm a little depressed that anyone would even ask such a question.
